There have been about ten contributors to this collaborative drawing so far. It would be interesting for contributors to re-visit the drawing at the CPM workshop and make further contributions and/or adjustments to accomodate their earlier input/thinking.
rumi poem "Late, by myself, in the boat of myself, no light and no land anywhere, cloudcover thick, I try to stay just above the surface, yet I'm already under and living within the ocean. by Rumi (afghanistan ) Just re-found this poem and looked at the latest drawing at the same time. It reminds me of the dissolving of things on the edge.
Community Printmakers Murwillumbah (CPM) had simple beginnings in an artist's garage in the rolling hills of the Tweed Valley in Northern NSW. It's earliest aim was to provide a meeting place for isolated regional artist's. That aim has evolved over the years into an ethos that is identified by a generosity of spirit, with an emphasis on supportive partnerships for personal and creative growth.
